WEEKLY UPDATE
Good Morning Athletes and Parents;
***PARKING ISSUE***
***DO NOT PICK UP ALONG THE HIGH SCHOOL DRIVE. DO NOT DO U-TURNS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. TRAFFIC WILL BE MORE PRESENT DURING SCHOOL HOURS. PICK UP AND DROP OFF SHOULD BE IN THE BUS, ATHLETIC, OR HIGH SCHOOL STAFF LOT***
COURSE DAMAGE AND REPAIR
WOW! Athletes and parents have moved a whopping 18 yards of dirt, with according to google, 1 yard being up to 2000 pounds. That is a lot to do! The course is looking much better and is runable for our time trial Saturday. We still have some maintenance to do for our SPRINGBORO INVITATIONAL! But we are much closer than before. We knocked all 18 yards of dirt in about 90 minutes on Wednesday and 60 minutes on Tuesday. Thank you so much!
ATTENDANCE
Fill out the Google Form for when you will not be at practice, late, or leaving early. Reminder, this is not determining excused and unexcused absences. This to help us keep everyone up to date at the start of practice when taking attendance. The best piece of advice is to be there everyday.
UNIFORMS
The uniforms are the same as last year. If you are needing a new size, a cleaner version, or do not have a HS Cross Country uniform - then you will need to order one.
GIRLS - You can order black spandex through us or purchase your own. The spandex is all black - no white stripes are allowed. The uniform is the girls Nike Top. The girls top is $30. The spandex is $25.
***THE GIRLS UNIFORM IS DIFFERENT as NIKE has discontinued the line of uniforms you have had the past 3 years. You will need to get a new style. The jersey top is $30.
BOYS - The white top is $25. The shorts are the NIKE Blue Short. The shorts must be all BLUE. They are $25 through us.
Uniform Order - orders are now late. Athletes will not be able to receive a uniform until ordered and paid.
SPIKE NIGHT
NEED NEW SHOES (and yes you do) - take this flyer to Runner's Plus for some fresh running shoes, spikes, and accessories. Not only do you get a discount, but proceeds also go back to the team account!

PAY TO PARTICIPATE FEE
The fee for all HS sports is $260 a season. This payment window opens starting AUGUST 1st 2024 and will close AUGUST 15th, 2024. Athletes who do not pay are required to sit out competitions and practices.
If you qualify for free/reduced lunch, please contact the athletic office (LUSTATEN@SPRINGBORO.ORG - Lucas Staten) for information.
Also, if you are in need to set up a payment plan, please contact Lucas Staten as well.
The preference for payment will be through the online portal - same as school lunch.
If you are paying a check, I ask that you turn it in to the athletic office. This guarantees correct posting of payments. We will not be taking payments for the PAY TO PARTICIPATE on practices OFF CAMPUS.
Check payments are to the SPRINGBORO ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT or SPRINGBORO SCHOOLS.
PARENT and ATHLETE CROSS COUNTRY IN SEASON NIGHT
The OHSAA requires a seasonal meeting for sports. Our Cross Country night is August 5th at 7PM in the Junior High Commons.
